We are sure this MacGregor/Goldsmith size medium headgear absorbed quite a beating during its existence.

This gear was manufactured between 1946-51. The face is constructed out of heavy leather while the back has padding built in.

The bottom right has a MacGregor/Goldsmith stamping, "BFP" branded and the size indicated. Moderate sweat staining is visible on the inner half.

Overall, a fabulous boxing relic in working order.
