As Mel Ott's career was winding down, he helped the team by serving as manager. This ONL (Frick) ball is signed by members of the 1945 team. We must report many of the signatures are in a reduced state, but most are legible. The Ott penning is about "3" in quality.

Others who signed include: Ray Berres, Bill Voiselle, Ernie Lombardi, Jack Brewer, Bill Jurges, Red Treadway, Rube Fischer, Buddy Kerr, Ace Adams, George Hausmann, Nap Reyes, Slim Emmerich, Ray Harrell, Al Gardella and others.
