Al hit for a .336 average while playing in the Pioneer league for Great Falls in 1949. He spent his entire career in the minors beginning in 1943 with Wilkes Barre. He went into the service for the 1944-45 seasons and returned in 1946 playing in Bakersfield Ca. He moved to Harrisburg for the 1947-48 seasons and split the 49 season with them and Great Falls where he batted over .300 for both teams.
This bat dates to those seasons. It has perfect stamps, heavy game use and original handle tape. Bat comes with MEARS auction LOA.
