Offered is a binder originating from manager Tommy Farmer which contains 190 3.25" x 5.25" photo postcards from Bantamweight Title bouts featuring Manuel Ortiz, who was inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1996 and was considered one of the best pound for pound fighters of the 1940's. Most of the photos have blank backs, but Ortiz defended his title a total of 20 times over 2 reigns so it is likely a wide variety of opponents are represented in the collection. Also included is a postmarked envelope from Oritiz's title defense versus Luis Castillo and a letter from fight promoter Dick Griffin to Ortiz's manager Tommy Farmer. (E0532)
