1942-43 Unites States Navy Signed OAL Harridge Game Used Baseball w/ 19 Signatures Phil Rizzuto Dom Dimaggio (JSA)

Some of baseball's greatest players sacrificed the love of game for the love of country during World War II. This lot features a signed baseball that was dated to second World War at the United States Naval Base in Norfolk Virginia. This baseball is an original American League William Harridge baseball and has 19 signatures. Four major leaguers: Phil Rizzuto, Don Padgett, Dom DiMaggio, Tom Earley and Eddie Robinson served our country during wartime and are on this baseball. Other signatures include: Jeff Cross, Hooks Denaus, Jack Conway Ben Hoffman, Russ Mears, Frank Marino, Mushy Esler, Benny McCoy and others. The ball has light toning throughout and the signatures are still nearly fully visible. (64R0212)
