1941 Marv Owen Portland Beavers Pacific Coast League Game Worn Road Jersey

Offered is a Rawlings road style jersey as worn by the Beavers in 1941 and 1942 as evidenced in the 1943 Louisville Slugger guide showing Ted Norbert in this very style jersey in 1942 but with the war health patch. This shirt does not have the patch so had to be from the 1941 season. It is grey flannel with red canvas sleeves and a wash tag in the collar with Owen in vintage pen. Marv Owen played third base for the Beavers in 1941 for 144 games. The shirt has been expertly restored both front and back number 7. The shirt itself remains in near mint condition and is a never seen style for the PCL collector. grades A5  Estimate $500 Collection of MEARS staff.
