Before Joe DiMaggio's hit streak began, he needed a little seasoning.

This original 8" x 10" photo was taken April 11, 1941 when the Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers participated in an exhibition contest at Ebbets Field.

There are a few touch ups on the front. The reverse features: caption glue affixed with a date stamp. Some cracking is evident and the photo is fragile.
