Offered for auction in this lot is a Clarence "Soup" Campbell professional model J.C. Higgins bat. The model number C8 appears on the knob of this Jimmie Foxx model bat.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces and measures 35" in length. The bat has a round barrel & regular knob and matches recorded player specifications. It exhibits heavy use with medium ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and a handle crack with some separation. The bat is side written "Clarence Campbell 3-13-41."

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
