1940s circa Babe Ruth New York Yankees Signed Calumet Country Club Golf Scorecard

It was to nobody's surprise that Babe Ruth liked to hit the golf links during his brief times of rest and relaxation.

If Ruth hit a golf ball like he did a baseball, his tee shots would be of legendary proportions. Offered for bidder consideration is a Calumet Country Club golf scorecard (Homewood, IL) signed by Ruth in pencil. Ruth neatly scribed his name on the top of the scorecard. "40-41" is written on the uppermost right corner (possibly a score?). Faintly visible is "June 26", most likely the day it was secured. Calumet Country Club features a well-known golf course which has hosted some of golf's finest for over 100 years.

There is a crease which transverses the middle but it does not approach the autograph.
