1940's circa Notre Dame Fighting Irish Game Worn Football (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Notre Dame Fighting Irish football helmet likely dating to circa the 1940's. MacGregor logo stamped on front black stripe while "MacGregor H612" is stamped on the reverse of the helmet. Size 7 - 7 1/3 is also stamped on the black stripe running down the rear of the helmet with what appears to be "Bruce" scratched between the size number. Interior padding remains intact including the 8 strap suspension system with a loose chin strap also attending. Moderate to heavy use shown. (79G0162)
