1940's circa Game Worn Catcher's Mask (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a catcher's mask likely originating from circa the 1940's. Mask features a steel cage with leather lined padding affixed via a series of six leather ties around the perimeter of the cage. Original elastic headband with leather padded back remains affixed via a leather tie a the top and a pair of adjustable leather straps on either side. Heavy use shown with cracking and staining to interior of leather face padding. (80H0074)
