Lot #492:

1940 Coffee Table Presented To Arch Ward For Help With College All Star Game w/Gold Placard on Front

Arch Ward was the man most instrumental in getting the College All Star Game started. The fabled sports written who promoted sports like few before or after him.

This very table was presented to Ward for his tireless work with the College All Star contest. "To Arch Ward From 1940 College All Stars" is captured on a gold placard on front. There is edge wear on the table, as would be expected from a 70 year old relic. There is an abrasion on the front surface.

The legs feature an intricate design.
