Offered is a check dated May 9, 1939 for $4.35 payable to the Colgate Palmolive Peet Company against the account of the Baltimore Baseball & Exhibition Co. which has been signed by vice president John M. (Jack) Ogden and secretary/president Charles Knapp Jr. Prior to his foray into the executive side of the game Ogden played 16 professional seasons between 1918 & 1934 including major league stops with the New York Giants and St. Louis Browns.
