The Milwaukee team finished in first place in both 1943-44 only to lose both seasons in the World Series. Tommy was a member of the Brewers during both of those seasons. He came up in 1938 with the Moline Plow Boys and finished with the Medford Rogues in 1950 with stints in between with Muskogee, Salina, Birmingham, Macon, Pensacola, Columbus, the Solons of the PCL and in the major leagues in 1945 with the Braves.
