Offered is a Chicago Cubs press pin dating to their 1935 National League Championship season. The Cubs 100-54 record gave them a four game cushion over the St. Louis Cardinals for the NL Pennant though they would fall to the Detroit Tigers four games to two in that year's Fall Classic when the now 108 year old curse was just a 27 year run of bad luck. Pin features a Cubby Bear design with text reading "Chicago Press 1935". Pin remains in excellent overall condition with the original clasp still present on the reverse. (96X0172)
