Offered for auction in this lot is a Steve O'Neill professional model H&B Louisville Slugger. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger is a pre-model number bat with a signature barrel and the H&B 125 1934-44 period center label.
This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 35 ounces and measures 35" in length. The bat has a round barrel & regular knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits heavy use with medium ball marks, stitch marks, dead wood, 13 nails on the reverse of the barrel, some grain swelling and a 6" handle crack with no separation. "Steve O'Neill 7-25-34" side written on bat.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use and 2 points for side writing resulting in a final grade of MEARS A10.
