A pre model number signature contract gamer that is 34 5/8”- 31.1 oz, uncracked with tremendous game use including deeply embedded ball and lace marks esp. above the barrel stamp. (Bats right). There is a ghost image of the original handle tape (8”), some nail repairs on some minor dead wood and grain separation (-. 5) All markings and finish are perfect. It grades an A7.5 overall. Masi played from 1939-49 for the Boston Braves (Bees) and then for the 1950-52 White Sox. One of the National League's top defensive catchers. A nice gamer for the Boston collector. LOA Troy R.
