Offered is a 1933 Goudey baseball card #160 of Lou Gehrig graded PSA 1. Lou Gehrig, also known as the "Iron Horse" played 17 seasons with the New York Yankees (1927-39) and played a then-record 2,130 consecutive games, a record that stood until Cal Ripken Jr. eclipsed the mark in 1995. Gehrig was also a career .340 and played most of years with Babe Ruth. Gehrig was a seven-time All-Star, a member of six World Series Championships and the triple crown winner in 1934. Gehrig's streak ended in 1939 as he was diagnosed with ALS, now commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He died two years later in 1941. (G0204)
