Offered is a real photo panoramic view of the actual Inaugural All Star game held at Comisky Park on July 6, 1933. The original photograph has the studio name in the lower right corner stamped Kaufman - Fabry Chicago. It shows the game in progress and inserted on the upper border are two 3x5 pictures of the opposing American League and National League teams. The Nats are in their special All Star uniforms and the players include Frankie Frisch, Chuck Klein, Chick Hafey, Bill Terry, Pie Traynor, Carl Hubbell and Gabby Hartnett. The Americans are pictured with Ruth, Gehrig, Gehringer, Simmons, Cronin, Ferrell, Gomez and Averill. And that's just the future Hall of Famers. Aside from a small chip in the right hand corner which is only in the outfield, the picture remains without any creases or fading nor any tears with perfect clarity. What a piece! To have all of these A-list players from the first ever All Star game in the form of a panoramic photograh would make this a stand out piece in any collection. It is also plain by the clarity and toning on the back that this is an all original first generation photo and simply needs a killer frame to knock it out of the park. Collection of MEARS staff.
