1933-34 Lou Gehrig & Red Ruffing New York Yankees Signed Cut - PSA/DNA Encapsulated

Lou Gehrig was a willing signer when asked. But usually, the Iron Horse got lost in the all the commotion of his bombastic teammate Babe Ruth. People would grab a pen out of Gehrig's hand in hopes of securing the Bambino's coveted autograph.

Because he died so young, there was no farewell tour for Gehrig. When he was done with baseball, Gehrig disappeared almost completely from the limelight.

Offered is a piece of parchment signed by Dan MacFayden, Ken Williams Gehrig and Chas "Red" Ruffing. Ruffing (dec. '86), like Gehrig, is a Hall of Famer.

Each signature is scribed in pencil. We deduce the vintage as 1933-34 because Gehrig, MacFayden and Ruffing were rostered on those power pinstriped teams during during those two seasons. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder (65066226).
