1932 Benny Bengough St. Louis Browns Charles Conlon Original 11" x 14" Photo Hand Developed from Glass Plate Negative & Published (The Sporting News Hologram/MEARS Photo LOA)

Headshot of St. Louis Browns catcher Benny Bengough snapped during his 1932 season with the club. This Conlon image was used on his bubblegum card the following year, the first ever of its kind.

Hand selected for inclusion in the book "Baseball's Golden Age: The Photographs of Charles M. Conlon, 1993" each of these offered images were developed from the original glass plate negative. Classified as a Type 2 by professional grading services, each image presents the finest in color, subject, and contrast. Near mint condition. Sporting News Hologram. (H1235)
