Offered is an H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat of Art Reinholz. Reinholz was another career minor leaguer with the exception of a brief stop in the bigs. Over his 5 seasons in the Indians farm system he was able to string together a respectable .304 average, 100 doubles, and over 550 hits. His moment in the sun came late in the 1928 season when he was purchased from Winston Salem in September for two games by his parent club, the Cleveland Indians. During his short, two game stay, Reinholz was able to make 4 plate appearances with a hit and and walk. After those two games however, he would never make it back to the majors. He spent another two seasons in the minors before his career ended at the end of the 1931 season due to injury. Around the 1934 season, Reinholz used this H&B bat.

The 34-inch, 33 3/4-ounce pre-model number bat is sidewritten "Art Reinholz 5-5-31" and shows signs of heavy game use with heavy ball marks, swelling, cleat marks, the presence of nails/screws, a 5-inch handle crack.

Grade: Authentic
