He wasn't involved in "the fix" of the 1919 World Series. In fact, Dicky Kerr was victorious in two games of the infamous Black Sox series, but according this this pamphlet that tells Kerr's story about how he gave up baseball to go into the electricity business, he didn't stay in the league very long. It's amazing to think that a professional baseball player didn't make anywhere near what Kerr made while working for The Chicago Engineering Works. The publication, which consists of one page that is folded in half, measures at 6" by 12," and exhibits its proper fold creases throughout.
