Another never before seen relic picked up at the National is a signature endorsed Dizzy Dean base mitt. There is a round makers logo stamped on the face of the mitt but I just cannot pick up enough to determine. It has all the original white lacing intact. The Dizzy stamp is a bit light while the Dean is quite strong. The buckle back is there but broken. The initials GJM is written on back of the thumb. Collection of MEARS staff.
