Offered is a killer and just impossible to find Spalding Resilite foil printed black bat with the patented grip surface. This is the first black bat of this style we have seen. Given the ash bat is painted black and the foil printing is white, it is remarkable that it has retained about 85% of its original finish and almost all of the white print. The grip surface is equally as nice. There is some use and most of the finish that is missinhg is on the back of the barrel. It remains uncracked.
Buzz was a superstar on the West Coast where he played in the Pacific Coast League from 1918-30, all with the same team, the Oakland Oaks. A great PCL collectible. Bat measures 35" and weighs 32 oz.
