We all like to hearken back to our youth, when times were simpler and days and nights were spent playing games. Of course video and arcade games and computers were decades away when pinball and vending machines were the rage among our children. How many hours were spent passing by those summer days in front of a pinball machine or at the five and dime store trying to score a Mickey Mantle or Joe DiMaggio Exhibit card.
MEARS On-Line Auctions is pleased to offer the following arcade and table top treasures, most related to the game of baseball. The majority are from the 1940s and '50s. Many are in working order or were remedied back to life. Dimensions are listed on each. Shipping will be substantial on some given the heavy volume associated.
Measuring 7 1/2" x 12" x 6" is this Victor Vending Machine - the name is embossed on front. We believe this was intended for gumballs or small toys given the smaller sized slot for goodies. The machine still takes pennies so we assume it will work if loaded up with treasures. Gold paint is used on the face with a wood body/base.
