From his estate, this was one of Al Simmons’s most cherished possessions. Of proud Polish descent, Aloysius Szymaski Americanized his name to Simmons, in part to aid the sand lot announcers when the called the game.

The Bulova watch is housed in its original green velour case. The square faced watch with original black leather band is inscribed, “AHS, Success, PF of A, Circ. XIII Detroit, 1929” on the back side. Watch remains in near mint condition.
