1928 Babe Ruth New York Yankees "The Sporting News Collection Archives" 7" x 9" Photo (Sporting News Collection Hologram/MEARS Photo LOA)

This is a very unique find for any baseball enthusiast. A young George Herman Ruth holds a catcher's mask in one hand as his picture is taken. The picture is dated "10/16/28" on the reverse, though the Babe Ruth pictured on the front certainly does not look like a 33 year old Yankee. Likely the print was produced in 1928 from a photograph taken much earlier.
