1928 Babe Ruth New York Yankees Signed OAL Barnard Fenway Park Game Used 40th Home Run Baseball (MEARS LOA / JT Sports / Original Owner Letter) *JSA Full Letter*

Offered is a red and blue stitched Reach Official American League Ernest Barnard baseball with a faded sweet spot signature from legendary New York Yankees slugger Babe Ruth. Ball is accompanied by a letter from the original owner detailing his recovery of the ball from the Fenway Park bleachers following a Ruth home run, but it appears as though he mis-recalled the date as "July or August 1926" with the Barnard baseball not debuting until 1928. Review of Ruth's HR log does show him hitting his 40th home run of the 1928 season at Fenway Park on July 23rd off Danny MacFayden.
