Boxing was at the forefront of the sporting world in the 1920s. Baseball had to deal with the affects of the Black Sox scandal and football had yet to the enter the hearts of millions. Boxing matches were events of epic proportions.

At the top of the heavyweight dvision was Jack Dempsey. He was camera ready and a heavyweight champion from 1919-26. There was a heavy crush for anything Dempsey during his reign. Direct from Apeda Studios is this impressive 11" x 14" studio photo. The champ is in all his glory and decked out in his finest clothes.

The original transparent protecting paper is still firmly in-place. A studio stamp is visible on front as well.
