Before Derek Jeter donned the pinstriped number 2 it was worn by shortstop Mark Koenig in 1927 who batted second for in the famous Murderer's Row lineup.

Hand selected for inclusion in the book "Baseball's Golden Age: The Photographs of Charles M. Conlon, 1993" each of these offered images were developed from the original glass plate negative.
