The Sporting News was the first way for sports fans to stay informed. In 1886, The Sporting News began publishing a weekly newspaper type of publication filled with stats and stories centered around athletics.

Offered are approximately 195 Sportings News dating from 1925-1943. The paper is brittle after such a long time. The majority of the 1925 issues have chipping and many are in two pieces because of the folding. We estimate them in FR condition because of the moderate wear. The early '30s publications are in stronger condition but again are very condition sensitive.
