Offered is a H&B Louisville Slugger lathe bat direct from the Louisville Slugger vaults of Lew Fonseca which dates to his rookie season in 1921 with the Cincinnati Reds. The bat is in good condition with some wear from age and there are three holes drilled into the barrel as well. It is side written with 32oz, Fonseca, 9-12-21, Cincinnati BC. Overall this bat would make a great display piece of a player who went on to win the 1929 batting title.
