Offered for auction in this lot is a Bobby Roth professional model H&B Louisville Slugger. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger is a pre-model number bat with a signature barrel and the 1921-31 period H&B center label.
This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 38 ounces and measures 35.5" in length. The bat has a round barrel & regular knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits heavy use with heavy ball marks, stitch marks, dead wood and heavy cleat marks. The handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use and loses half a point for cleat marks affecting barrel stamping resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.5.
