Featured for auction in this lot is a Bob Meusel lathe bat sourced directly from the Louisville Slugger vaults. This was the pattern bat used to produce Meusel's gamers for his campaign with the 1921 American League Champion New York Yankees. Bat measures 35" in length, weighs 30 ounces and is side written "11-4-21, Bob Meusel, N.Y. AM LG."
