Offered for auction in this lot is a Frank Snyder professional model H&B Louisville Slugger. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger is a pre-model number bat with a signature barrel and the 1921-31 period H&B center label.
This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 37 ounces and measures 36" in length. The bat has a round barrel & small knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits heavy use with light ball marks, stitch marks, dead wood and a crack in the handle at 8" with separation. The bat is also side written "Frank Snyder 5-17-28."
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use, 2 points for side writing and loses 1 point for the handle crack resulting in a final grade of MEARS A9.
