Daubert is best remembered for his part on the 1919 Reds World Championship team that played the infamous Black Sox of Chicago and for his pre mature death in 1924. He won the 1913 and 1914 National League batting titles, as well as the 1913 Chalmers Award. Between 1911 and 1919, The Baseball Magazine named him to their All-American team seven times. Daubert was a .300 hitter for 10 years of the dead ball Era. He is considered the most outstanding first baseman not in the Hall of Fame. A very rare and desirable super star gamer from the dead ball era.
It must be noted that this bat is not consistent with other examples that have entered the hobby, but still must be considered a professional model.
