1920's Taylor Trunks Chicago City Women's Basketball League Game Worn Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a collared blue satin basketball jersey which was worn by one of the female hoopsters on the 1920's era Taylor Trunks, who competed in the Women's Division of the Chicago City Basketball League. May & Halas Sports Equipment Chicago manufacturer's tag sewn in the collar of jersey along with a size 36 flag tag while "Taylor Trunks" and uniform number 8 are embroidered on the jersey in red & white thread. Jersey features a unique two button crotch strap design while the front buttons up via five red buttons and one snap. Definite use shown with a few small holes & areas of fabric loss present, though the jersey remains in excellent overall condition given its vintage. (69W0090)
