Karl was a member of the Baltimore Federal League team in 1915. This bat was returned in 1923 while he was playing for York and Cambridge in the minor leagues. It was returned by another player that appears to be named Hessey or Hessen but cannot read clearly enough or find a player with that name.

Comments:Interesting bat in that it was made in Columbia SC which is where Zinn Beck was located. They use the Diamond Ace logo so it is safe to assume that Zinn Beck and Beck are one and the same but this is the first style of this logo that we have ever seen. They also copied H&B's Trade Mark Reg. U.S.Patent Off. logo under the round center brand.
