Joe came up in 1918 with Sioux City. His only year in the major leagues was in 1922 but he played organized ball until 1932. Teams played for include Ft Smith Twins, Pittsburg Pirates, Muskogee Mets, Dallas Steers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Bisons and others.
