Mitchell came up in 1920 with Spokane and with the Oakland Oaks of the old PCL. He also played with Ft. Smith, Beaumont, Norfolk and Okmulgee. The bat is a model KW, probably a Ken Williams model.
Bat measures 33" and weighs 36 oz.
Swelling from use on both sides with just a hint of minor grain separation.
Handle has a tiny 2" closed crack along with the ghost image of 6 tape rings.
