1920-30's Lot of (5) Side Written Game Used Bats

This lot consists of five game used and side written bats straight from the Louisville Vaults. Each bat shows great evidence of game use and all are cracked unless noted. Each bat is detailed as follows:

1. Grinnell Bat made in Grinnell Iowa. The barrel is stamped "Rabbit's Foot" It is side written "T K roch (sic) Model 4-5-26. Bat measures 34" and weighs 31.1 oz.

2. Hanna Batrite model 87. Side written " 32/35 oz. Joe Moon 1-23-36". Bat measures 35" and weighs 32 oz. The remains of the original shipping label back to H&B is intact and partially readable.

3. 1911-15 J.F.Hillerich & Son Co. Frank Baker 40 F.B. Dead Ball era decal bat. Just traces of the original decal visible along with a partial shipping label back to H&B. Bat measures 33" and weighs 38 oz. The handle is hand carved. Side writing there but not readable.

4. Wright & Ditson Major League with "Johnnie professional stamped under the center brand. Side written Johnnie K??? (wish it was Kling) and unreadable return date. Bat measures 34" and weighs 37.7 oz.

5. Completely blank non stamped bat that resembles the bottle bat made famous by Heinie Groh. Side written "W.T.??ak?? 1-21-30. Bat measures 32" and weighs 35 oz.
