Offered is one of those fun collections of newspapers and postcards which you never know what may be unearthed.
Two of the post card books are empty but a third is filled with early 1900s postcards each affixed to a scrapbook. Cutouts, business cards and some postcards fill the book. Each is affixed to the scrapbook.
Also included are approximately 45 newspapers, heavily centered around the Chicago Daily News, from the 1910s. Headlines include: Title for Berlin Opens, Theodore Roosevelt Dies, Centennial History of Illinois with Lincoln on cover. There are a number of off the beaten path newspapers from the same time period.
Also included are: The Story of Paris (American YMCA), Aetna Dynamite, Franklin Rotary Sewing Machine instructions, Regulation War medals, Road Race Round the World booklet, Chicago Daily News 100 years of famous front pages, World's Columbian Exposition Chicago (book pulls out from binding), 1944 Ringling Bros. Barnum & Baily Circus Soldier Field program (crease down middle) and many more.
