1910 Era Goldsmith Canvas and Leather Flat Top Football Helmet

Offered is a very early flat top with the canvas upper and the large brown leather dog-ears with a very dark and bold ink mfg. Stamp on back with no. 29. There is a bit of sweat staining on the body but remains in solid exc. Condition with original chin strap and perfect leather ears and inside padding. Just a really nice example of an impossible helmet that saw game use a hundred years ago but no abuse. Collection of MEARS Staff
