This flannel Upsala jersey saw its fair share of action through the years. One thing still baffles us though, how did players wear such uncomfortable jerseys during the oppressive summer heat.
We are pleased to report this flannel button-up is complete and shows decent overall wear. Sewn in the collar is a Spalding tag (approximately 1915-28 labeling period) with a blank swatch sewn near it.
"UPSALA" and "6" are carefully placed on the jersey in single-color blue, which has faded over the years.
There is Upsala, Ontario and we believe it to have been worn north of the border. Mostly likely a town team wore this flannel.
