Photos measure 8" x 10". These 90 photos chronicle baseball from the 1900s to the '40s. The majority of the images focus on the Detroit Tigers franchise and therefore include Hank Greenberg, Ty Cobb, Leon "Goose" Goslin, and several others. Two images of particular intrigue are Ty Cobb depicted in a 1909 Detroit Tigers team photograph and Hank Greenberg shown at bat during the third inning of game five in the 1940 World Series.

Other non-Tigers that help comprise this collection include (but are not limited to) Kenesaw Mountain Landis, William Harridge, Dizzy Dean, Rogers Hornsby, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio and Bill Dickey to name a few.
