1908-16 Miller Huggins Reds/Cardinals Spalding Hand Turned Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Miller Huggins professional model hand turned Spalding game used bat from his time with the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals. This pre-model number stick features a signature barrel and the 1907-25 period Spalding center brand.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 39 ounces, measures 31" in length and matches recorded player specifications with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits heavy signs of use with ball marks, stitch marks, cleat marks and dead wood. RM is carved into the knob. Handle remains uncracked. (Q0179)
