Army vs. Navy has been a college football tradition since 1890. Almost every year, the two military schools are pitted against each other in a fierce battle.
When this Foot Ball scorecard was issued, college football dwarfed any type of "professional" football. Saturday afternoons college superseded anything accomplished on the gridiron on Sundays.
From the sixth installment of Army vs. Navy is this scorecard - approximately 3" x 5". Both of the rosters are listed on the inside. This is scored as the men who scored a touchdown (Long), Goals from Field (Clark) and Safeties (Bunker) are written pencil. Minor splitting is visible on the lowermost fold mark.
Our guess is this was lifted from a scrapbook as there are glue remnants and slight paper loss on the backside.
