Lot #829:

1900 Era Dick ? Ace Brand Professional Model Dead Ball Era Side Written Game Used Bat Featuring Turn of the Century Hand Addressed H&B Shipping Label - (MEARS LOA)

Killer early bat with the Ace of Spades branded on barrel with Ace inside in script and that is the only logo.

Bat measures 34.5" and weighs 39.2 oz.

You can see the side writing and Dick is easily read but the last name is tough. It still has the original shipping label and stamps to Louisville and you can read the entire address to factory.

Bat is pounded with use and some vintage nail repairs to front of barrel.

The entire length from knob to past center as well as the last 2" of the barrel are hand scored.

A never seen logo with that turn of the century "LOOK" that really dress up an early display. Collection of MEARS staff. MEARS auction LOA. 00089
