These three paper cards granted entry to government buildings between the years of 1865 and 1868. One card admits the bearer to "Stand No. 3" for the review by the command of Major General Augur in 1865. The other (not pictured) is imprinted with the number 725 and was taken at the entrance of the U.S. Senate. The last one admits the bearer to the gallery of the U.S. Senate for the "Impeachment of the President" in April of 1868.

These items, especially when considering their age, have held up considerably well through the years. A1538
